In surfing, and many other dynamic activities, the key to success is timing.

What about if you could mentally slow the visual messages coming into the brain, but still maintain the speed of reaction needed to complete the task.

In surfing the speed of the take off requires such exact timing, and coordination, in an environment that is dimensionally unpredictable, and increasing in speed.

If you could slow the visual messages down, so that the brain could focus on what actually needs to done to achieve the take off, and subsequent drop down the wave..... geeeez my surfing would accelerate at amazing levels - the take off and drop is the most critical part of the wave. Master the late take, or air drop, and your sorted!

I would be interested if there is any thing out there to do this.

I try to slow the mental images I have on land.... but to be able to do this in the water, whilst actually doing the move...

Anyone any ideas experience...thoughts..
Thanks in advance
Alexia
