Hi all,

Heres an interseting one. I am going to see a guy who for the last 16 years has been compulsively checking taps, light switches, doors, kettle, oven, etc etc before he leaves the house.

The whole routine takes about one hour before he leaves for work. If he knows he is the first one back in the house after locking up, he simply does not have to do the routine in the first place and dosen't even need to think about it nor does it even cross his mind when he's out.

Its only when his wife or step father is due in first does he do this routine.

Is this a simply case that he doesn't trust anyone else? Strange to point out that this started just after he got married!!!!!

The guy thinks the situation is hilarious and thankfully he can find some humour in it all.

Has anyone else dealt with a similar one...would enjoy hearing about your experiences
