Hi people, I'm reading a fascinating book by Daniel Levitin called 'This is your brain on music'. A bit heavy going in places, but the book offers some really cool new ways of looking at how music affects us.
It is also great for de-constructing music and our psychological responses to sounds that I recommend it for anyone who wants to find out more about this most ubiquitous human construct.
Anyways, has anybody else read this?
Regards,
Vince
ps. it also has a cool website where you can check out the music refered to in the book - so the experience takes on a new dimension. check
