Hello Everyone,

Thank you to those of you who were at the meeting last Monday

We covered the Circle of Excellence process with variations.

Summary of this process is included below.

Practice topic was: Circle of Excellence

The purpose of this process is to anchor and re-access states of optimal performance.

- Choose or recall a resourceful state you would like to experience often
- Specifically indentify a time when you fully experienced this state
- Imagine a circle on the ground in front of you (or a colour or any other symbol you choose that you would associate to this state)
- When you are ready, step forward into the circle (or your chosen symbol) and relive the experience by associating into the state fully - see it through your own eyes, hear through your own ears, and feel the emotions, notice the breathing patterns and any other specific identifying sensation or behaviour
- Note the thoughts and behaviour patterns, the obvious and subtle ones, which are associated to this state; also focus internally and notice any inner representations, tension, breathing, etc.
- Enhance the experience by amplifying any submodalities associated with the state, including colour, movement, emotions, etc.
- Step back out of the circle (or symbol) and shake off the state
- Test the 'Circle of Excellence' by stepping forwardand noticing how quickly you can re-access this state
- Repeat the above steps until you can acheive this state perfectly easily

Test and future pace:
Identify some of the situations in which you would like to have this state, then imagine you can take your 'Circle of Excellence' into each situation and future pace your experience.

All the best,

Natalie
