"The third day was the hardest. I woke up with no energy at all and arrived late. Coffee didn’t even make the trick this time so I took notes but I didn’t participated in the mass hypnosis exercises.
I think that feeling out of the mass changed my perception of the event. No doubt that he was using the power of suggestion during the whole weekend to sell his products but these things I was perceiving were beyond that. In one of the songs after the break I heard some words on the background.
The two big screens were showing happy images of the most expensive training program: the Hawaiian Bootcamp Seminar. People dancing, with certificates of achievement, practicing sports on the beach etc… The words on the background of the song were audible but not so loud to hear them clearly.
I could catch some of them: passion, happiness, feel like home, family. Of course this kind of persuasion is used all the time on tv and advertising but Chris Howard was hypnotising people… it began to feel a bit scary. What if he is hypnotising all of us so we desire to go to his expensive Hawaiian seminar, or to buy his books and cds?
If something is true is that he was in the zone and he knew his stuff very well. NLP and Hypnosis are powerful tools, for the good and the bad, and most of us, including myself, hadn’t heard about him before. Everything was coming to place, at least for me.
In the lunch break Chris Howard’s store was very active…much more than the days before.
I was suspicious but again, maybe people just thought he was good and his products were good price so… I couldn’t conclude anything. Then my friend told me: “I think I am going to buy one of the cds with the hypnosis exercises. That way it would be easier and I could relate to this weekend”. You may want to know that she had very clear before that she wasn’t going to buy anything.
I told her she could borrow my NLP manuals and self hypnosis tapes…
After the break people began to leave. Seriously, we were exhausted! Chris could see it, there was considerably less people, so we went straight to one of the last trance exercises (it was around 2:30 pm). I just stood with my eyes open. I was going to listen to him this time consciously and very carefully.
And he did it. He used his skills in a non ethical manner. I signed the terms and conditions so I can’t reproduce here the whole script. It is protected by the copyright laws… very clever from him! I have been studying hypnosis and NLP books for a while and I can tell you he was doing it very wisely. Especially because everyone was exhausted and tired after the whole intense weekend, that is the perfect way of putting someone into trance and get straight to the unconscious. I left the place with my friend after that exercise around 3pm.
Just to be clear: I am not criticising the tools, I am criticising Chris Howard. Please, beware. He is amoral and unethical. He said he has visionary plans to eradicate poverty and that he’s doing charity work in Hawaii but if this is the way he is going to make the money, by hypnotising people saying “allow yourself to expand” (with American accent sounds like “spend”, very direct suggestion if you are in trance) and other similar things then he is nothing more than a money maker with no ethics."

Dear All,
What do you think about the above?
I plan on going to one of his Breakthrough course so I would like to know
1. Is there any contract to sign?
2. Would anyone concur with the experiences of the person above?
3. Is there any mass hypnosis that a newbie like me is not going to see, hear or fee on the conscious level?
