| A strange thing happened while I slept Hello everyone, I trust everyone is unbelievably well, heh heh. I woke up this morning in my sleep around 2.00 am not unusual for me to wake up at that time. When i realised how awake I was that was when I realised I was still asleep and that my perceptions were somehow a little different.
A) the light's were on, the lights were not on.
B) I was awake, I was asleep though.
C) I asked myself 'WHERE' I was, and something more than a voice perceived that I was in my sleep.
Recently I had finished a SMEAC's course with the formidable Eric Robbie, and when I say 'with' I mean it was his course, and course is a good word to describe it, lol.
There he was in my dream, asking me questions and motioning to me certain gestures that increased the thought train of my dream.
This was interesting I thought and as I began to unravel the deeper meanings of the echoes in my mind, that was when I decided to have some fun.
Now I've been trying to lucid dream since my friends and I used to experiment with OOBE's, some 23 years ago. This has always led me to fly and visualise and experiment with mind altering drugs, all with something a miss, and I've travesed my mindscape with gusto and spirit before only this time something was real and I knew I had awoken in my dream, I was concious of it.
More, what I can only suggest are hypnotic commands, became available to me in my sleep and I worked with them enthusiastically and I decided to take the lead and go to where I wanted to get results. That's when I got a pleasant surprise, for althopugh I went were I wanted it wasn't what I expected and that threw me down the next thought path, all the while I'm feeling good and awake, a little powerless though, as I never had a plan.
So, tonight when I wake in my dreams, I should, be able to take the reigns more, it's gonna be interesting. The fascinating thing about this dream was that I had a mentor with me guiding me. He let me loose when I needed to be let loose and he was there when I needed him to be there, at least that's my perception.
Imagine how I felt upon waking all the feelings of the amazing thing that had just happened to me I could now do that in a 'waking' state, because I felt very much still in the same state and the echoes lingered delightfully in my mind.
Not a bad experience by anyone's standards, eh?
have fun and be well! |
