NLP and Hypnosis

Too often these seperate disiplines seem to cross over.
I have spoken to hypnotists who claim to renounce NLP and all it's teachings,
and i have seen NLP sights teaching Identical skills to what I find on strictly hypnosis sights.
Can someone here help me to repaint the line between NLP and hypnosis.
