| mastering emotions Sorry if anyone's read this twice i just wanted to make a more eye catching, to the point title!
Hi, i have seen many exercises that ask you to feel an emotion and locate where it is in your body and note its other submodalities (eg Paul Mckenna with a technique that takes the feeling in your body out change the colour and spin it in a different direction. Also Richard Banler- Blisstification) but other than the butterflies in my stomach when im nervous, i dont feel anything located anywhere in my body with most other emotions! I have been told that i have to feel it somewhere in order to feel the emotion/state, this makes sense but doesn't solve my problem. I think i need to develop more sensitivity to my emotions but dont know how or where to start. One thing i thought was making up or guessing its submodalities so ive got something to work with, if i can do this how and why does this work! I thought i'd ask anyone if they knew if this would work first or for any other suggestions as they would be greatly appreciated! |
