spotaneous 6-step reframe with my mother

Hi everyone,

an experience wirth sharing...

lately, weeks versus months, mother has had pain in her jaw when eating, she reported it also happened last year at christmas, and today we are eating lunch together, opposite at the table,

you had to be there, me, her, you know, however words can describe it to a certain degree,

1. directed her attention to her face & jaw area particularly describing the pain, movement
2. she gave metaphorical answers, I thanked her, and stated my intention is to help her answer the doctors next week, and those metaphoric answers will not help the doctor
3. she described clicking, bumping & a locking of the jaw during the context of eating
4. I asked her her how aware she was of any positive impact the pain may give her, what function it may serve, how life would be worse or better without it
4. she admitted no conscious intention, although gave me a sarcastic answer of intent
5. i told her I didn't believe her
6. I told her Steve Andraes's oil light warning metaphor ( light is on, unplug fuse, oil warning sound, unplug fuse, car comes to a halt ---- ignoring the signals there for a purpose)

NOTE: during this time rapport at the table was strained, approx 5 times,
6. she stood up & cleaned away the table, I asked her to close her eyes, and ask her inner self, her body, yo do whatever it needed to do in this situation
7. she mentioned a tingling, small spark in her opposite (right) side jaw, I asked it to increase or decrease, it didn't, I remained, & the left side sensations decreased
8. she bagen to yawn, "It's uncontrollable" for approximately 5 - 10 minutes, quite bewildered at it, "Have you haypnotized me?" Me: "No, I merely helped you communicate with yourself"
9. She began to consciously interpret the yawning as time to sleep, I suspended this in my mind, and questioned, "What body part is involved in yawning?"
10. she verbally reported the sensation in left jaw is decreased
11. she stated she'd a;ways been a good subject for her rieki practitioner

A very satisfying result
