| I'm quite interested in how NLP applies to sports and I'm just blown away with how mentally strong Tiger Woods is. He has just won 5 tournaments in a row which include 2 majors the open and the uspga. Also his hugely influential father died a month before the open.
He has an amazing ability to focus when under pressure. His rivals all hit the ball as good or better than him now, yet they seem to fall away when they go head to head with him.
I've read a bit about him over the years so I know one of the techniques he always goes back to when under pressure is to picture the putt, visualise the putts going in the hole.
He is also half Thai and his mother is a Buddist, so he learned to meditate when he was young(he no longer practices meditation). I thought perhaps this helps him get in the 'zone'.
I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on Tiger and his mental abilities under pressure?
Cheers
