    Search Function

The search function does not work and has not worked for ages. When you hover over the word 'search' the search bar appears, but when you go to click in the search bar (thus not hovering over the word 'search' any more) the search bar disappears.

Can you be more specific? Which search bar? On which page? Using which browser? Thousands of searches are done daily and most work fine; I'll need more details to track down any problem.

I change my mind often; I might not agree with this any more

Any update on this? I couldn't get this to work in my browser (Opera) either and had to resort to Internet Explorer, where it indeed worked.

My 'Search the Archive' function works fine.

Is it the 'Member Search' you are having trouble with, on the 'Member List' page?

I find to search for a member I left click on the words 'member search', then I drag and drop the ghosty image into the search bar........then it stays put and I delete the writing that appears in the bar, then I type in the members name

    Did anyone understand that?

    Chris,

Any update on the 'search all public posts' link that doesn't seem to work?
You were going to make a patch for the code (whatever that might mean ) when you had the time.

My thread was locked and I haven't liked to mention it again.

    Thank you kindly

    Sue
