By joining and/or using NLP Connections, you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. In addition, the following community standards apply whenever you post on the forum.
You must be…
Respectful, friendly and constructive: We appreciate flexibility and understand that some people like to express themselves in direct and/or provocative ways. However, we do not allow posts that seem to us to be overly aggressive, hectoring or otherwise unpleasant. We want this to be a pleasant environment. Please choose your words well, and remember: “the map is not the territory”.
On topic: Threads may drift gradually over time but if you think your post is going to shift the focus of the discussion, please start a new thread instead. Do not add “signatures”, links or other contact details to the end of your posts. (All your posts link to your profile anyway so please add any links you want to your profile and not to the end of each post.)
Community-minded: You are generally allowed to promote your business in response to a question. For example, if someone asks “who offers NLP training in London?”, you can reply with details about the NLP training you offer in London. Do not post unsolicited commercial announcements, adverts or offers until you’ve been around for a while and have made at least 100 non-commercial posts. After 100 posts, we allow regulars to make occasional announcements but please keep them to a minimum. Do not promote or post links to any other NLP/hypnosis forums. Do not promote or post anything that’s illegal or will expose the community to risk, including libellous or copyrighted material, torrents or other illegal downloads.
Honest and straightforward: Anyone is welcome to post on the forum under their own name. If you just want to use just your first name and initial, that’s ok too. False identities are not allowed under any circumstances. “Sockpuppets” are not allowed under any circumstances.
