It was a great class Jonathan, thank you for giving up your time to talk to us.

It was great seeing so many people interacting by phone and by text. I've teleconferenced that way before with everyone chatting and then posting relevant links in a chat window.

If you've ever had the experience of training with Jonathan Altfeld or listening to one of his products, then you already know the kind of learning experience that you're in for.

Last night was just like that except with a real difference. Imagine that you're sitting in the training room or listening to the CD and Jonathan makes a point that you wish he'd cover in more detail but alas, the the moment passes and it's on to the next thing. Due to the interactive to the interactivity of this medium, Jonathan was able to keep track of whether or not people were 'getting' what he was saying in a very different and unique way. He was able to shape his comments around the group's understanding. It was a bit like mind reading, but in a good way!

As for the subject matter, Jonathan provided a framework of thought for developing a way to successfully monetizing one's NLP outside of the traditional pathways of Practitioner or Trainer and finding not only money but real success in the process.

Jonathan layed out the groundwork for how to think about NLP and how to reframe the way that one looks at one's own work in ways to make it profitable. He also explained where it is useful *not* to use traditional NLP attitudes or skills when it comes to marketing. This is something that I myself to found the true in the past and it was great to see Jonathan hit on that point, I thought.

Jonathan also carefully balanced his time by providing everyone there with literally dozens of resources, people and books to look into. Had he tried to teach everything himself, there was no way he could've fit in a tenth of what he was able to convey. Instead, he constructed a framework (there's that word again), a way of looking at things and of framing thought and then simply turned everyone on to other fantastic sources of information as a way of letting them do their own learning to fill out that framework.

Rather than handing people fish he gave them a fishing pole and pointed them to where the fish are biting!

The question-and-answer session that followed served to further expand on the evening's learning.

Jonathan will be expanding on what he taught last night in a free teleseminar series where he will be interviewing people who have become highly successful by using their NLP skills in nontraditional environments.
