Reality is Plastic - Anthony Jaquin

When this first arrived and I removed it from the Jiffy bag I was a little dissapointed - it seemed a little light at only 100 pages and for me had a distinct 'homemade' (spiral bound) feel. I was cheered a little when I opened it to find an unexpected CD rom.

HOWEVER I was deeply cheered when I actually read it - this little book is fantastic and I believe deserves a top rating. Heres why:

It teaches direct impromptu hypnosis in a way that is thorough, complete, and very simple to understand and put into practice. The book and the approach are simple, yet rich with subtle details that really get things moving quickly. It teaches clear sequencing and good protocol and is written in such a way as to instill confidence in what could come across as quite a daunting activity (performing impromptu hypnosis).

I work as a Hypnotherapist, using an 'Ericksonian'/NLP approach and have been looking to employ some more direct methods in my work. This book has given me exactly what I was looking for. I got the book yesterday and read it straight off, today I have been using some of the stuff with clients and I am feeling very good about it. I also feel (for the first time) able and confident to demostrate hypnosis in social settings, which can only be good for my hypnotherapy business (none of the 'skits' are about embarressing people).

Also I bought the book direct from Anthony and the delivery was swift.

I have only watched about a minute of the CD Rom (time and schedule have not yet permitted more) but I understand it to be Anthony's demonstrations of the material in the book - which will be just fantastic (I prefer learning this sort of thing visually/auditorily).

To sum up - This book is simple, well written and I have learned a hell of a lot from it. Well done Anthony!

5/5

James
