| How to become a better speaker: Review of Jonathan Altfeld’s Holographic Communication Workshop Having the skill of expressing oneself easily, fluently and with great pleasure while your audience is having great time as well may mean greater financial security through career advancement or attracting more clients to one’s business. It can also mean increased respect from one’s peers as people who are great speakers are considered to be smart, at least by most people I know. Moreover, at least for me, being able to gets my point across and move my listeners in a way I want feels really fantastic! It feels great to be understood, doesn’t it?
Well, I imagine that most people interested in NLP already value having great communicating ability and for them the question is not whether being a better communicator is valuable or not, but how one goes about improving one’s communication skills? And if that’s the question you might have in your mind as you’re reading my post, I suggest that you consider taking Jonathan Altfeld’s Holographic Communication ™.
To start with, Jonathan is a very powerful public speaker himself, so even if there was nothing else to recommend about this course, just the ability to model someone who’s able to deliver an amazing impromptu presentation on just about any topic I can think of is well worth the price of the workshop.
What’s even better, Jonathan, in addition to being a great communicator, is also a very skillful and dedicated teacher who’s quite able and willing to deploy his considerable NLP skills to make his students better public speakers.
Add to this a powerful Holographic Communication™ model of delivering both prepared and off-the-cuff presentations and you get a hell of a training!
How did I benefited from this course personally? Well, before the course I had some idea about spatial and tonal anchoring as well as a -- rather conceptual -- understanding of state chaining in the context of public speaking. After the course, I have experience of moving people through various states while creating anchors. I also became much better at generating attention grabbing headlines.
Am I a great speaker now? No not really – I have a lot more practice ahead of me. Am I much better than before this 5 days course? Absolutely yes!
So, the bottom line – Jonathan delivers what he advertises and then some! I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their public speaking skills.
