I recently listened to Jamie Smart's Better Coaching Skills with NLP CDs, enjoyed them greatly, and learned lots. This CD set is aimed at newbies to NLP coaching, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get their feet under them a bit more about going out into the world and making a difference. You may have heard the basics before; if you've been on a good prac course you almost certainly have, but this is a chance to listen do them being used to very good effect, then explained clearly.

I'd already spent some time wiring in language patterns with Salad's Ericksonian Language and NLP Coaching card decks. These are likewise fun and informative, and I've recommended them to lots of other newbies without reservation. The difference the Better Coaching Skills Cds made for me was being able to witness a demo of the concepts in action. Very good stuff for someone at my level of experience.

I've been impressed for some time with Jamie's generosity in sharing what he knows. Sure, it's a great idea to offer free stuff to get people to your website, get them excited, get them signing up for trainings, but Jamie goes beyond what I've observed from most other trainers in the depth and quality of what he offers without charge. Even before I took my practitioner training I was reading his clearly-worded, jargon-light NLP tips and benefitting from them. Not everything you can get for free is worth more than you paid for it, but Jamie's free stuff has real value, and so did this CD set.
