How to Develop Your Persuasion Skills
to get Quick Results in the Real-World
- by Colin G Smith

=========================
In his ebook, "Persuasion Skills Black Book", Rintu Basu, has created
a practical guide to learning persuasion skills that you can use every
day in the real world.
Although the product doesn't come with any audio files with spoken
examples, it does contain many, very good examples for practical use
in daily life and there are plenty of them spread throughout it's 126
pages.
Rintu Basu has been an NLP Trainer for over nine years and specialises
in training people in how to use practical persuasive language
patterns in daily life.
In the "Black Book," I found the most value in the fact that Rintu
actually demonstrates the patterns as you read, then describes several
examples and finally reveals, step-by-step, how to create your own
'short, snappy and usable' language patterns that get you the
persuasive results you want.
The subtitle of this ebook is, "A Course on Practical NLP Language
Patterns for Persuasion." I have read and listened to other
'Persuasion Language' products and have to admit that this book really
does live up to the promises Rintu makes: It shows you practical tools
you can use in every day life, lots of useful examples, and hints and
tips on how to learn the skills consciously and unconsciously.
At first it took me a little effort to get into constructing my own
patterns, but after re-reading a few examples in the book, as the
author suggests, I did find myself coming up with my own little
persuasion nuggets for use in my day-to-day interactions.
In, "The Black Book", Rintu states that, "as interest in NLP, Covert
Persuasion, Conversational Hypnosis and Persuasive Language Patterns
grows there seems to be more confusion and less quality information
available both in books and on the internet."
I agree and after reading this book I was pleased to discover that he
delivers on his promise of giving the reader practical lessons in
Persuasion that can be used in everyday living; Business and Social.
The only thing I felt this ebook could use to make it even better was
perhaps a special section for Seduction skills. But to be fair there
are quite a few 'seduction' examples sprinkled through the text.
As stated in the ebook it doesn't claim to be a complete body of work
on NLP Language Patterns, but I feel 100% comfortable that Rintu's,
"Black Book" does deliver on his stated promises.
If you are interested in learning Persuasive Language skills that will
get you results in the real-world, then I give the, "Persuasion Skills
Black Book", my highest recommendation and a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Hopefully Rintu will produce a follow-on ebook that teaches other
important and useful aspects of NLP, Hypnosis and Persuasion Skills in
the same thorough and complete manner.

Hello,
I have read/own Rintu's Persuasion Skills Black Book and I thought it was a great book on Persuasion Skills. Rintu's NLP Company website is a wealth of excellent information. I have read and reread this book and am in the middle of one of his more Advanced Persuasion Skills Courses. I highly recommend both of them. I am a Certified Hypnotist and a Chiropractor in the USA. Rintu responds and answers his emails. Gives generously of his time, and teaches this information in a win-win way. He is ethical and well informed. I have checked out other NLP sites, and for the most part unimpressed with any of them, and Good Luck getting a well written, thought out, personal response from any of them. Communication/Persuasion Skills are important regardless of your profession. I consider Rintu's work up there with the best of them. I was delighted to have found him and THE NLP Company on the Internet. Buy this product with confidence. I use it and review it everyday and am very happy with the results I have achieved. Rintu makes a very clear point, that to learn it, have fun with it, and practice it ten minutes a day. That's something you would want to do, to get good at anything, isn't it? Buy it and enjoy it. PS, Several of my successful experiences with this great information are used as examples in the book.
Sincerely,
TG77 -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu I am new to NLP but purchased the book because I need to improve my persuasion skills big time (I am in telesales). There are some excellent ideas in the book which I now intend to put in to practise and will update this thread with my progress.
What wasn't mentioned (I don't think) when ordering the book is that once you have purchased you get additionaql information sent on a regular basis and the author responds quickly and very helpfully with any questions that arise. As an example he has helped (and is helping me) with the use of NLP to overcome objections.

Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu Hi Simon,
I think Rintu is great. Please remember to practice like he says. I read the book daily and keep a note of my own to refer to as well. I will be posting something on his blog soon. His Avanced Persuasion Skills is definately worth getting. You get MP3's and audio visual information that really makes it easier to learn. Again, I relisten to them all the time, especially in my office when I'm doing paperwork. I am already a certified hypnotist, and I think you should look into that if you have any interest. You will notice several things. You learn visual clues, read people better, and really learn how important the words you use are, when communicating with others. Did I mention confidence? The first time you put someone in a trance state (to help them with something, always aim for positive win-win results, helping anyone is always win-win) you will get a great boost in your confidence. I haven't taken Rintu's program on Hypnosis, but based on his other information, I am sure it is top notch. Buy books on body language, covert persuasion, and other similar subjects. You will become a better communicator. This is why I started to study this information. These skills will help you in different areas of your life that you have not even considered. Keep learning and studying, and more important, PRACTICE. You will notice the difference.

I agree with you Tom. I bought Rintu's book and started reading it the minute it downloaded. I was stuck by the fact that it was nice and easy to read and how powerful the techniques he was teaching were. I started practicing them immediately (I was in work when I bought it) on my colleague with whom I have manyh arguments. For the first time that I can remember I actually silenced my colleague (who had to admit defeat) by using the "the issue isnt x but actually z" technique. Since then I have been practicing this one technique every day with some fantastic results. My aim is to master each technique one by one. Practice, practice, practice. Great book Rintu!! -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu Well played, and excellent work James. The Agreement Frames that Rintu teaches work very well with the kind of person you are dealing with. It steals all of their thunder, they don't expect it, and that leaves you a wide open space, to get your point across. People who like to argue a lot are easy to beat. Also use "tag questions", at the end of your point. Examples: Isn't it? Doesn't it? Better example: I agree that you feel that way, and since we all want to make things easier for each other and better for the company, let's do it this way, because we'll get a better response, and that's what you really want, isn't it? (Hard to argue with, isn't it?) I know that is a run-on sentence. Break it up anyway you want. There are also embedded commands in there, and a couple of other things. I/you shifts work great with these type of people. Example: "When I start to think like that, you reevaluate your position. Then it's easier to be more flexible, when you understand that now, isn't it? Don't accuntuate the you, like I did in the example. If done right, in a natural tone of voice, he should not notice it. Say it loose and comfortable, so it gets past him. You don't want it to sound like you are telling him to do anything or correcting him, it should sound like it's something you do. He'll get it, but he won't know why, and you will. He can't resist or argue with what he doesn't consciously "hear".

Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu This looks suspiciously like a string of sock puppets to me.........Can you guys post on some other threads to ease my fears? -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu Yes, odd that Chris.
Socks usually manage to lose themselves so that you can never find a pair and suddenly 2 pairs pop up at once.
Perhaps they are all the same sock. Funny if they were all a sock called Rintu. -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu I had to change my socks because the one's I was wearing got wet from the snow. -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu A damp sock puppet steaming on the radiator, now there is a metaphor to play with. -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu Lame. If they're sockpuppets, Chris will root 'em out. If they're not, they're still pretty lame shills. This is the "as you know, Bob" school of writing. "As you know, Bob, there are these things called tag questions you put at the ends of sentences...."
Did I mention lame? -
Well done, Bridget. And remember, shills are people too, unless they're socks, and isn't it great, as you said, that Rintu's book is so incredibly life changing that it just sells itself without the need for any mediocre self-advertising that doesn't impress anyone. I think I'd better go and buy 23 more downloads before it sells out.
In fact, as I'm sure we all agree, Rintu is clearly a master of persuasion skills and I think I'll go and buy another 78 downloads to give away to all my friend - before the pills wear off. That way I can enhance his life not just once but 78 times!
Isn't it wonderful to be assimilated - I'm so glad I didn't resort to futile resistance. And now I think I want to buy another 385 downloads in case my friend comes round and doesn't have anything to read.
BTW, do you think Bob would like a copy? I must go and buy 2,052 more ... http://www.bradburyac.mistral.co.uk/ -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu Now now, just because a clutch of people get all excited about something they've read, doesn't mean they're all the same person. It could be a case of mass hysteria. Or maybe we really are missing out on something, and have attracted a bunch of newcomers with an unusual fixation on one topic and no interest in any of the other discussions going on. Stranger things have happened, isn't that right? -

Which reminds me, I must go and buy another 17,306 downloads in case ... well, just in case.
Be Rintu

Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu I just wonder if Colin Smith and Simon Smith are related. I think they're brothers who shared the book, hence the same surname and incredibly compelling persuasion skills. -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu About time I made a comment on this thread. Firstly all the positive comments have come from people that have bought the book. Whilst I have encouraged them to join this forum as well as post a comment on the review Colin did on my book I have no way suggested to them what to say. My association with them is that they are customers of mine. I am sure Chris Morris is fully aware that these people are not sock puppets otherwise they would have been deleted. I am really sorry that they find the book useful enough to pass these comments. Rintu http://www.theNLPcompany.com -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu I think if they had mentioned that you asked them to join and post comments then they would have been treated with less suspicion.
Why are you sorry that they find the book useful? -
Re: Review: Persuasion Skills Black Book - by Rintu Basu Quote "I am really sorry that they find the book useful enough to pass these comments."
Hi Rintu
With respect. Don't you mean you are really sorry for the way these comments have not been usefully embrased by the forum?

I'll tell you what, send me a copy of your book, I'll read it and review it and that'll be that, because people here know that I am the best when it comes to spamming. -
Being new it has taken time for me to get going on this forum (im new to forums in general) but I refer you to a new forum topic I have done on Cialidini and some comments I have made on Derren Browns book and some advice on what NLP books to read for someone who is new to NLP.
Rintu's book was the first thing I have made a comment on but it will not be the last. | |
