It seems that Catholics are now being told by their church that the jury is (still?) out on whether or not hypnosis is in fact spawned from the fiery pits of Sheol or just a tool to be used to fix stuff in people's brains, as long as they don't enjoy it too much...

I hope that they paid royalties to the Encyclopedia Britannica for that article, as it seems about half the text is either quoting or paraphrasing the Britannica...

One thing they definitely don't like is the idea of using hypnosis for past life regression. At least we know that's evil, doesn't exist and is out of the question for those who find the opinion of this institution useful in making their own life decisions.
