This is a rather belated reply - been busy out working with teachers! I just wanted to bakc you up really and agree with your sentiments regarding the tough job/ little support/ less understanding that teachers get! Everyone has an opinion about what they should be doing. Including me! Let some of them try it for a month. I would like to write some of the things kids say to their teachers but frankly they would be too rude for this site!
Its a really tough job and folk would be best to confine their comments to being helpful and supportive.
On a more sunny note there are a few schools and heads that are really interested in NLP for learning and there may be a whole school soon where all the teachers are trained in NLP and Accelerating learning.

Hello Helen,
I have been reading the threads of teaching/learning styles over the weekend. Great comments from all. I have recently been trained in IE (basic and standard) and am wondering how long it takes before you or others notice behavioural changes in your students. I know ever child will be where they are and take their own time but i am curious about your personal experience. I am using the perception is projection approach(which is also very IE) but I haven't been as successful as I would have liked.
I'd appreciate any info.
