Practitioner in NLP for Educators in the U.S.!

Kate Benson is interested in providing a Practitioner of NLP for Educators in the United States this summer, if there is enough interest. She is considering Chicago as a good central location.

If you are an educator in the U.S., and would be interested, please register your interest here! If you know of any educators who are looking for fun, creative ways to fulfill their continuing education requirement, this would be it! Feel free to send them this way.

I am sure that Kate will pipe in any minute now, and fill in some more details...

    Thanks!

    Phil

I'd love to be able to attend this. As a new substitute teacher, I'm looking for ideas for using NLP in the classroom. I doubt I could manage a trip to Chicago, though.

Hi, Roxianne...you know, gas is a lot cheaper than it used to be, and if you drive through Ohio, we could carpool and share the expense!

I would probably pass through Columbus on my way. I'm on the other side of WV, in the Potomac Highlands, so Columbus is still quite a haul from here. I'm also currently looking for ways to have a steady enough income that I can start saving up money for courses and workshops.

    OK nice presupposition Phil
I travel to the US once or twice a year and would be delighted to run a teachers practitioner. I am happy to run it anywhere that is good for the teachers, however it's a BIG country!
My experience is that folk really have to be prepared to travel to get what they want. Look at all the peolpe who travel form Europe to the US to do trainer training.
I am happy to run something in the summer vacation and will organise the venue etc (hopefully with some help from folk who might be local)
It will start to get cost effective with about 15 to 20 people so once we have a group we are on our way.
Most training is advertised and promoted in a fairly traditional way but it doesn't have to be like that. We can find new ways of doing things and enjoy the experiment too.

    Thanks, Kate!

Roxianne, so seriously, if it were in Chicago, I think we could carpool, and share the gas expense!

Now, do you know anyone else, Roxianne, in your area, that might want to share a ride with you along the way? I still think that Chicago is a great central location for the training, and there are lots of fun things to do there when we are not training (that is, if Kate lets us loose once in a while!).

I'm going to work on promoting it on facebook, and perhaps in my local school district. Let's work towards a goal of getting at least 20 participants, and hopefully more! Learning NLP is great, but the notion of learning NLP specifically in the context of the educational setting is even better!

Maybe Barbara Stepp would be willing to help promote it in the greater Chicago area, especially if she is not running a prac herself this summer (I'm not sure whether she is or not).

    Phil
