Dream Travel -
Dream Travel Has anyone experienced this?
Whenever i'm going to sleep, my body shuts down but my mind is still on. As i fall deeper in sleep, I can feel myself floating from my feet to my knees and so on. It feels like I know that i'm dreaming and i let go.
The question -
Is it possible if i travel through sleep? If I explore things and things, and possibly move ahead in time? -
Hi, Nikko, There are many world traditions of dream travel, ranging from Tibetan dream yoga to Senoi dream work to the "astral projection" of the western esoteric tradition. The study of these in the scientific context usually falls under the name of Lucid Dreaming. The pioneer in studying this stuff in the laboratory was Stephen LaBerge - check out his books, if you have the time, or books on the above-mentioned world tradition. Here's a bit of an NLP perspective: A Digression About Dreams by Philip H. Farber -
