    Perfection *is* hard.

Good thing we only have to be that way in short spurts.

I am noticing something getting set up in the background.

I am doing all of this reading and pre-prep, and I still feel very posative about that. I really think I have a pretty solid grasp of what is to happen before I go to San Diego.

I do have some expectations about what will happen while I am in San Diego participating in the NLP Training.

I just dont really have much of an idea of what is supposed to happen after I get back from San Diego. There really isnt a plan past just being in San Diego and getting the training.

I would like to ask some of the people here who have gone to Basic and Master Pract. trainings what is the most common step taken after finishing a training, but I wont.

OK, I cant stand it, I WILL ask.

What do most people do immediatly after they come back from a Basic and Master Practitioners training?
Do they, quit thier jobs to open a practice ?
Do they, do work on friends and family ?
Do they, excell at all they do afterwards ?

I have a great job that pays me very nicely. I really dont want to quit my current job. I would be open to starting a practice, or even working part time in my friends office.

Maybe some people here have some personal stories about what they did jsut after thier first NLP training.

You could find somewhere nice to sit down with a bottle wine or a beer and ask yourself how well you have achieved all the learning objectives you set before you went on the training that you have just completed.

The drinking was not the important part.

Re: Can a Person Do Harm to Their Ability to Practice NLP?

I guess I am still imagining some sort of apprenticeship, or something in between. That would be my preffered choice.

I suppose that a person could just go into practice as an NLP changeworker and charge for thier services as a buisiness or private practice.
I suppose a person could just come home and help friends and family with personal problems. Then, later, start a practice.
I suppose a person could just go home and be a really excellent poker player, or a better salesman.

I suppose any of those options and many many more are possable.

Pretty good supposin' so far, Dave. Here's to finding your own answer, and meanwhile let the question go wherever questions go when you're through asking them and ready to engage fully in the learning state you're designing for yourself right now.
