Thanks Nina.

You know how you were discussing life purpose before, For sometime I have been using the slogan "everything happens for a reason' as one door closes another opens type philosophy. I have recently really understood the deeper meaning of this slogan and added another dimmension to it..

Wether I was not ready or wether the universe still had some lessons for me to learn, a door opened that led me to a seminar where I discovered numerous missing pieces of information that for me clarified numerous aspect of life.

The point I wanted to make was that we often receive information and use this information and understand it still on some levels does not make sense or we ourselves are not ready to consciously understand it, spirituality, life reality, what ever it is, it has yet to be fully accepted into the system.

So there I was, I knew what I wanted to do, what I believed was my life purpose, my spiritual path, in other words the thing that made me feel alive and passionate about what I was doing. Though I was still very unconscious on some levels or how I was going to achieve my life purpose, i knew what it was.

Then a door opened and I was invited to attend a weekend workshop and within myself I knew congruently I was ready and looking and attend this workshop. From the information I received at this workshop, I was able to join it with all the information I had gained from the books I had read and the courses I had attended to transform knowledge so it becomes understanding.

The information I learnt at that workshop would have had an impact on me and changed the way I looked at things, that is for sure. Thought it would not have had the significant life changing impact it did ...had I not experienced life - the way and in the order - that I experienced it.

After removing a few erroneous beliefs and adding the new learning’s I was able to discover that the way to achieve my life purpose was through my life experiences.

Now, when I look at life and the things that happen in life my outlook is completely different. All the feelings of emptiness, unhappiness have disappeared and have been replaced with drive and passion.

My slogan has changed slightly to become “Everything happens for a reason and exactly when it is meant to happen”. The beauty is that there is so much more for me to learn, finer distinctions to make, now I just enjoy life knowing that these teachings will come regardless, as and when I need them. And wether I want then to or not

Have a great day

Frederic

Re: Practical Spirituality and NLP

I have a background of practising Low Magick and a level of exposure to High Magick, and have frequently enjoyed putting an NLP spin on both magick and other Spiritual practices... to be honest learning NLP burst the magick bubble somewhat as I could see how the eye of newt and toe of frog all became a bit superflous in the end...

So applications of NLP to Spirituality:

Deep Trance Identification for Invocation

The Andreas disentanglement (or whatever it was called )pattern for releasing harmful connections/tangled fates etc releasing negative people from your life and connecting with your best self/guardian angel/whatever

Re-impriting patterns/ guardian angel or higher self visiting the past

Timeline for past Life regression metaphors

Use of Milton in conjuntion with Tarot for nifty healing metaphors

Neurological Levels exercise to discover Life's Purpose

Trousers of Time to explore decisions and future consequences

Modelling and recreating profound religious experiences

Heightened altered states without the need for drumming, whirling, peyote etc

there's bound to be more...

Hi Mog, thanks for your contribution to this discussion.

Could you say more about "Use of Milton in conjuntion with Tarot for nifty healing metaphors" and "Modelling and recreating profound religious experience"? I'd love to hear some examples of how you use Tarot archetypes with Milton language and how you model and recreate religious experience.

Thanks,
~Duff

Hi Frederick,

Yes this has been my experience too

So for people reading this thread, if you feel restless impatient to know everything, or feel you don't know enough.. be patient all will come when it's meant to.

Take some deep breaths and affirm something akin to Fred's line that all is happening for a reason and in pefect timing.. that will get you centred.

Best wishes
Nina

Re: Practical Spirituality and NLP

Just wanted to follow up on this thread. I am having to use these skills which to me is very exciting. I was in a job that I loved - as a temp - in a large finacial related company and this week people's futures are being decided. The atmosphere in the office is crap and eerie as no one knows what their fate will be.. maybe tommorrow though.

Well I learned my fate this afternoon, I was told that they no longer needed a temp as they had no work - no deals being made etc as no money to do them with in the Banking/Credit crunchy thingy..hehehe

Soooooo at first.. my emotions was 'sadness'.... as I loved the vibe and people and banter etc etc... then I went calm, breathed and went to ladies.. to have a little cry to release the emotion and honor it - so not to feel sorry for me... this is practical stuff.

Then for rest of the day, just got with work and used my sensory acuity to see who I feel knows etc... a few forced smiles my direction and such. That was fine, I didn't give any clues away that I had been told.. I shall tell them tommorrow when I have had time to sleep on it and consider my responses.

So now I have been meditating tonight and spinning a few feelings and letting go of a few stuck energies in my throat - until I feel it transmute and get a feeling of expansion.... I worked this until I had big grin on my face ... Then now I am feeling excited.. I have so much exciting opportunities on my plate that the day job, was really just a way to fund those more important things..... like teaching spirituality in London and presenting on Emotional eating.. etc.. .. so now I am feeling cleared.... and by morning I will be feeling very determined focused to bounce back and take the next steps that have been set up for me..

Love and peace
Nina xxxxxxxx

Great changes are happening... it's a wonderful time to be alive.

Great Stuff Nina, looking forward to hearing how you are travelling.

It appears things are shifting all over the world. I too am on the move I found out yesterday that I am relocating from a vibrant and happy work enviroment with like minded people into a sterile office where they highly value protocol and quietness. I was there for a meeting yesterday, and very few people appear happy nor do they smile.

The only thing to do was to accept it and look at it as a new twist to the journey, new people to play with, I recon give it a few weeks and a little NLP magic before the place becomes as vibrant as the old work place. What a great opportunity to practice state elicitation and anchor fun and happy states.

As I mentioned everything happens for a reason and exactly when its meant to happen.

Have a great day

Frederic

Ahhhh, Mog it's the spirits (perhaps Frangelico) telling you to keep the mystical secrets of calibration and artfully vague guidance in the realms of the unexplained.

Re: Practical Spirituality and NLP

Hi all,

You guys are amazing and I am so happy that we can support each other on our journeys like this on this forum.

I am doing ok this morning, didn't sleep much, but had a short spell of really vivid dreams state sleep. Woke up to a beautiful inspiring message from a friend on this forum.... who private messaged me with some beautiful words..... a few more tears of gratitude and acknowledgement.

Fred, I totally relate to that, the office I am returning to this morning, was a fun place to be.... I look forward to seeing how you turn yours around again. I think this is going to be a common thing, and perhaps we can help a few others that are going through the same thing like my lovely friend Carol said.... like redundancy, uncertainty and 're-structuring' of their lives.

Well today my calling is to cure a lady in said office of an unreasonable response to the sound of cellotape being ripped off the holder....I hope she comes in as I have planned some cool things for her and I want to test my work before I go

Best wishes
Nina x

Re: Practical Spirituality and NLP

Update on the journey so far.....

Well I worked my last day on Friday and that evening spent time preparing for the Mind Body and Soul event in London. I was asked by Vaz to present on the 2012 panel with some LCS colleagues which was magical. I had no idea what I was going to say, but ended up talking about the need to activate more of our strands of DNA to get vibrating at the higher level for 2012.

Then follwing day I gave my talk on Emotional eating.. had about 40 people present, some NLPers and hypnotists in the audience. But it was so cool.. i had them all stand up and imagine doing what ever would love if they knew they couldn't fail... from my perspective it was brill... as I was already doing it LOL..... seeing them all reminded me of being at seminars where Paul and Richard hynotise a whole audience.. very cool.

That same day I met a lovely lady, known as the face of Nike.. we are meeting to discuss projects in personal training and lifestyle.. thats on Friday. I also got to speak with Dr David Hamilton, and told him that I remembered the story about the free coisant he got.. through sychronicity.. this was last year when he was speaking with candace pert.. anyway yesterday.. I was having coffee with Manjir (author of Punk Science) and guess what???? I got a friggin free coisant.... ahahahahaah I told Manjir the story and she was blown away... then she proceeded to give me a beautiful insightful tarot reading.. cool eh?

Then today.... the editor positive health rang up and asked me to write and expert column twice yearly... how cool????

And finally.. in Second Life today.. been approached by a wonderful musician to record some spiritual hypnosis CD's..... now do you believe me??? ahahhaah

What a whilrwind!!!!

Love and best wishes
Nina x

oh btw.. I sorted out the cellotape lady too before I left the day job.. eheh

Keep dreaming peeps.. they really do come true

Thank you so much Nick,

You must take credit for getting me focussed. If it hadn't been for your wonderful coaching sessions who knows how confused I could have ended up not doing what I really loved to do.

You made it so that I felt ok about not going for the 'business plan' thing and to just follow my heart... you are a star!

Now I gotta work on getting paid for all this stuff LOL.. any tips??

Best wishes
Nina
