Dear all,
I look for advice how to best assist my wife to experience a healthy and harmonius pregnancy.

She has a history of anxiety (due to post traumatic stress), that may be an issue.

I am planning to create some sound tracks to provide suggestions and condition her to expect the best and draw upon her innate resources.

Are there any sample scripts around that you can point me to? Having a starting point for this project surely would be useful.

I don't know about scripts, but Tina Taylor has a hypnosis CD called Tranceforming Childbirth and you can download it via this site. I have had no cause to listen to that CD personally () but I've heard from other people that it's been useful for them.

It's a different approach but I think its relevant. I saw the film in London with a friend who was thinking about having a baby.

It showed how the traditioanl methods of childbirth in hospitals are unnatural and give you insights as to how having a baby can be a pleasurable experience and not something to resist - so saying 'yes' to the labour pains and embracing them were a large part of helpng that process. Also the husband played a large part in the role of preparing the mother to be the best state she could be for the big moment - so this is great for NLP.

Anyway I hope it gives you and your wife hope!
