Dr Phil Bates Neuroliminal Training
Hi
has anyone had exerience of using a subliminal system by a Dr Phil Bates. It claims to have positive effects on people with autism, add/adhd as well as a host of other problems. The link is: http://adhd-autism.com/.
I have a family member with aspergers and adhd and was considering buying this product, more out of desperation to try anything. Those who have experience of living with people with these conditions may well understand.
However i've always been sceptical of subliminal recordings producing any change and don't want to be ripped off, but i also don't want to miss any oppertunity which which has a realistic chance of helping.
Any comments would be most welcome.
thanks

Re: Dr Phil Bates Neuroliminal Training
I remember reading somewhere that subliminal messages, ie messages recorded with music in the background in a way that makes them inaudible for the human ear, doesn't work. The person that made the claim originally later confessed that he falsified all data.
Of course, there is always the placebo effect.
I did some googling but the topic is so commercialized it makes it impossible to find any sort of reliable information. This one was rather informative: http://www.parascope.com/articles/0397/sublim.htm

I can't claim any expertise with autism or add, etc yet have you researched the work of Donna Eden, author of Energy Medicine?. you can find out more about her at www.innersource.net
its not subliminal stuff.

Re: Dr Phil Bates Neuroliminal Training
"Dr Bate's" claim that most mental problems are caused by unsuspected allergies which can be cured by "brainwave" c.d.'s is utter nonsense.

Allergies to bad ideas that have gone viral, perhaps.
