Very good guys but do they have a purpose and can NLP remove them?

When I was seeing clients in London, I used to get a lot of people who wanted to "lose" a fetish or two. Generally speaking I think they're a lot like upside down phobias and very easy to flatten out.

As far as I can tell, their purpose is pleasure.

"Can NLP remove them?" is, I think, something like asking if your tomato plants are comfortable. Ask instead if someone could use NLP to remove a fetish, and the answer is what it always is to that sort of question: "It depends." It depends on the skill of the programmer and the goals of the client.

to the OP: you can "reprogram" your sexuality in the most crude way by thinking on women and masturbating until your orgasm repeat until the stimulus (a woman) brings up a response on you (exitement) and go on from there. it will take some time and determination but hey it'll sure be more fun than therapy

To the folks who are thumbing down this this response: he's more correct than you want to believe. There was a single, and probably unethical, study done which produced this result. It didn't happen the way "J V" suggested, but the principle is the same.

An electrode was inserted into the pleasure center of the brain of a man who was driven by homosexual urges to perform violent criminal acts. He watched heterosexual porn movies while his brain's pleasure center was stimulated. After a while, he was asked if he would like to give a woman a try, and he said he would. The researcher found a prostitute, brought her in, and the subject "performed admirably".

Again, probably unethical in many ways, but it worked.

I'd perform admirably with a goat if I thought it was the way stop mad doctors electrocuting me.

A resounding NO! I would not reframe his request as a matter of fact I'd even strenghten his resolve. I'd tell him many things he can do with his money and bolster his ego strength.

First and foremost, he needs to get out of his environment thus control his predicament and identity like join the army and not the navy wilth ragdolls. Overkill.

I would teach him skills that would resolve any doubt or dispute with his own self-integrity and self-empowerment. Help and assist him expand his own personal emotional rule and bring out his warrior skills.

Fatherly explain the values of a true human being. Try not to meet his sister. Opps. Damian invited him to come over and where can you get an offer like that for free? Even if not sure, I'm sure Chris would vouch for that, he has recorded the post in the forum.

I'm ain't a therapist and don't get paid a ludicrious amount of money with that said go one to one with Damian. The offer stands! And surely will be private between them. A wink or silence from Damian is all it takes to give the respect for the secret counselling.

Given a choice between a lever that dispenses food and a lever that sends a tiny charge to the pleasure center of its brain, a laboratory rat will starve to death with a smile on its face.

Makes me wonder why it isn't being marketed as a weight-loss strategy.

I also wonder if the aforementioned criminal went, pardon the rather atrocious pun, straight... that is to say, did he stop perpetrating violent crimes, or did he suddenly find that his new desires "drove" him to criminal acts.
