Anchor Types and Effectiveness Based on Experience

I want to get some opinons from others who have more experience than me in using anchors. Specifically, based on your EXPERIENCE, what types of anchors have worked best for you?

As an example, I have had great success with kinesthetic anchors (touching shoulder or hand) and condiment anchoring (visual). I have not had much sucess with using tonal anchors. For example, saying something like "That's Great!" when the person is in a certain state has not worked for me. It seems to me that tonal/auditory anchors only work well when they have been repeated many times, like when a parent tells a kid NO x amount of times in that certain tone or when you hear a song over and over again during a certain time of your life. The auditory does seem to work but only if reptition is involved. Once again, this is just my limited experience speaking out.

As I think more about it, I'd also like more input as to using the environment more like the sugar packet, business card, steering wheel, etc. The use of the "environment anchor" seems to be almost transparent to the client which increases the effectiveness. They don't even seem to notice like they DO when I touch them quickly or speak louder.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,
