I have a book by Joseph O'Connor and his partner Andrea Lages called Coaching with NLP. It is beautifully written with lots of good examples.

Part 1 is What is coaching.

Part 2 is The Art of Coaching including Goals and Values, 1st session, the art of coaching, questions are the answer, beliefs, transition.

Part 3 is Coaching in Practice, including coaching in action, coaching yourself.

    Part 4 is Resources

I like it a lot. Hope this helps

    Carl

    Mark,

NLP, as they say, is in the modelling. So, I like to use my NLP skills to model successful folks. For business, I find I can learn a lot from Marshall Goldsmith. Check out his Web site at www.marshallgoldsmith.com. Mr. Goldsmith is very generous with sharing his learning and has made a wealth of information available for FREE at www.marshallgoldsmithlibrary.com.

My recommendation is that you check it out -- and, Enjoy!

    Venus

Newcastle College were doing a diploma in Performance Coaching heavily based on NLP and Angus Mcleod's book mentioned in another post, that was free. I think that the government funding has now run out but as far as I know the course is still running. Although it's not a book, well worth checking out. Warm regards Graham.

What about "NLP in Business" by Peter Freeth? Oh, that's me! It has a whole section on coaching in it, plus sales, leadership, presenting, and of course all applications of NLP in Business which I have created whilst practicing NLP in real business (not just talking about it or training but actually inside businesses) over the past 15 years.
