...What would you ask Paul McKenna? -
...What would you ask Paul McKenna? Hi.
I'm having deep dialogue with Paul tonight with a view to his ideas around wealth, prosperity and business.
I'm recording a segment of it, for you lovely lot to listen to.
I want to set aside a portion of the conversation for your questions.
So. what question, if you had the answer to, would make a real and positive difference to the way you think and act around your business and wealth?
Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? HI James
I won a competition where the prize was meant to be a signed copy of Paul's new book- ask him where the hell it is- as have been waiting almost 4 week now lol
A Question that I would like to ask would be-
How would you turn the so-called competition/other people in the same field of business into assets that serve you as a commodity?

Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? Interesting question Jay. I'll put it to him.
Out of personal interest, what a wonderful inherent suggestion there is in your question... to turn competitors and people into assets you strictly speaking have to OWN them. So maybe the answer is....BUY THEM.
I'll be interested in Paul's response.

Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? can I borrow his ferrari?
or
what are the most powerful top three ideas / excercises / insights from his 'Rich' book, that if those were the only three bits a reader got, would make all the difference? http://www.oxacnlp.com -
Cheers Vince...nice one. Is that just a cop out for you not having to buy the book?

Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? Mine would have to be, "How do you make time for all the things you want to do?" A second question would be, "How do you maintain your focus on projects?"
Cheers

Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? got the book, ain't read it yet!
read bits of it, but there's a big pile of other books to go through first.
gold edged pages are a nice touch - the book looks and feels expensive, talk about preframing! http://www.oxacnlp.com -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? I have a problem with the word rich, it shouts of flaunting wealth with fast cars and gold plated things, and people who think that once they are "rich" all their problems will melt away. I guess Paul has a book to sell but it seems aimed at people who are looking for a quick fix. The sort of people who buy Tony Robins stuff on the shopping channel.
Still it is my problem, I prefer to think of money as stored experience that I can trade in for other experiences, that motivates me more than waving my wad of cash.
My question. Why did he choose the word rich? -
It's just marketing... I don't think it would have sold if he had called it:
'I can make you drop out of of this joyless consumer society and rescue you from your alienatied existence'.
And remember you can be rich on the outside... as well as the inside... man.
There are definitely some beliefs I need to work on as I'm not fully transitioned into making a full time living from my services.
A big thing for me is that all around me people only seem interested in investing in material goods and that inhibits my willingness to market my services to a certain extent. -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? I've read the book, and Paul's definition of "rich" seems to me to have nothing to do with flashing cash and lots to do with enriching one's life from the inside out and repairing one's relationship with money and what it means in one's life. "Rich" is just a word, and if I have an uncomfortalbe reaction to it (as I once did, along with the words "money" and "prosperity"), it's the reaction that wants changing. I think it's a pretty brilliant book, actually. -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? Do you think he writes his own books? Or even reads his own books? Perhaps I'll be criticised for saying this but I don't see him walking the talk he writes about. -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? tricky that one - he is rich, thin, doesn't smoke and is confident (although there may be contexts in which he isn't).
In that way, he is what you see is what you get.
By the way, I love your eye picture - very cool http://www.oxacnlp.com -

What is it you've seen in PM or his actions that seems incongruent with what he says in his books? 'Cause I think it's important to walk your talk, especially when you're selling it to so many others. I haven't gotten the same impression of him, but it's possible I've missed something you've caught. -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? I recently started reading change your life in 7 days and have found it thus far to be a really good nlp book
When I have mentioned this to other NLPers, the reactions I had is 'thats it's anoyingly good', 'I don't like PM, but it is a good book' and 'I really didn't want to like it'.
I really like PM's work and I wonder Y people(in my experience) seem to not like him?
Is it just because he is so successful? -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? I find there is something in his speech patterns that I don't like,I suspect that it is a hangover from his time as a DJ. The way that local radio DJs manage to make everything sound the same whether they are talking about Mr Jones's runner beans or the immanent destruction of the human race. They have the same chirpy insincere delivery.
I read "change your life" and think it is an excellent book. Michel Neil has a very high opinion of him, and Michel Neil is pretty close to Bandler in making skills look simple, so I would like to understand my feelings. -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? Yes, I can understand why the "DJ delivery" might bother some. I see it as something he uses with a wry sense of humor about himself as a working-class boy from Enfield. I was impressed with his skills because of the changes that the first of his inductions I listened to made in my thinking, and I have since found him to be personable, likeable, and human. Furthermore, while I was listening to the DJ the Hypnotist was having at my unconscious, and the Trainer was merrily installing things that did me a lot of good. -
Re: ...What would you ask Paul McKenna? Hello James and everyone..
I have just read this thread and am wondering how the interview went and when we will be able to see the results of the questions :-)
