People Pattern Power - Have You Got the Book Yet?

    Hi
People Pattern Power is the wonderful book by Marilyne and Wyatt Woodsmall (founder of INLPTA) exploring 9 key People Patterns (metaprograms) to transform business success.

We've been working with Wyatt on several projects and have imported 50 copies into the UK from the US and now have them available.

This is a not for profit operation on our behalf - we just think that people should have access to this terrific book.

Explore metaprograms in the context of :

    Sales
    Management
    Marketing
    Negotiations
    HR & Recruitment.

A must read for those people in a business looking for an edge in these tricky times. Listen out an identify People Pattern powers and direct your communication and business to maximise performance utilising this powerful information.

Have a look at Dr. Wyatt Woodsmall for more information.

    thanks
    Darren

How does this compare with "Words that change minds"?

Re: People Pattern Power - Have You Got the Book Yet?

    Hi Nick

    Basically :
    a. More readable.
    b. Good on applications.
    c. keeps it brief yet pertinent
    d. provides an excellent insight into the structure of motivation.

More readable because it's written in story format - a manager joins a new company that uses Meta-programs as part of it's culture (a la Ken Blanchard)

Good on applications - the manager has a series of conversations which teach him (and therefore the reader) easily how meta programs really play out in different applications.

    regards
    Darren

I read that book in the 90's. its WAY overrated.

I spoke to Wyatt on the phone once though. he's a nice guy. he's like Robert Diltz in that he does analyticall modeling as opposed to NLP modeling

    Hi Jim

I don't think it's the best-written book in NLPland, but "WAY overrated" does seem a little harsh. IMO, a lot of the problems are to do with it being self-published. I think many of the ideas are well worth catching up on.

If anyone is interested, there's a fairly detailed review here:
