I discovered I had a natural talent for helping people through personal change when I was 23, running a theatre company and working with young people and the long term unemployed. During my twenties I extended my knowledge of shamanism, psychodrama and cognitive behavioural therapy with more than 1000 hours of training in various approaches to personal development. I trained in NLP with Richard Bandler and later with John Grinder. As well as supporting people through critical life issues (such as recovery from cancer, psychosis, depression, o.c.d, substance misuse) I have worked as a personal coach to Directors and Senior Executives and as a consultant in innovation, team development and organisational learning for multinationals including Shell EP, Proctor and Gamble, Legal and General and GlaxoSmithKline. I don't do "therapy" or "counselling". People always get stuck with what they know and if they want to change they have to learn something new. My job is to find the tipping point, the smallest intervention that will teach them what they need to create real behavioural change. I don't pretend to know the answers. Each person’s journey is unique. My style has been described as "lovingly supportive, strongly challenging and light hearted in the face of adversity" but you'll have to make your own mind up.
