I'm fascinated by altered states and the potentials of hypnosis and NLP. I'm also not an instant believer. On the blurb of Frogs into Princes it says "...you will not be asked to take on any new beliefs, only to suspend them long enough to test the concepts and procedures of NLP in your own sensory experience". I'm married to a wonderful woman and I sometimes forget to tell her quite how much I love her, I have two lovely kids who I love dearly and at times they can get on my nerves! I'm surprised at what age I am on my next birthday, I take my wife clothes shopping with me because she always picks nicer things than I do and I like going to gigs. I left school at 16 with few academic qualifications, trained to be a chef and, for a brief time, co-owned a record shop called Vortex that sold records that few people will ever have heard of. I really am just a guy! Now that we've established that, let me tell you why people find training with me and the rest of the HeadStrong team such an incredible experience? Because I'm also a guy that believes that everyone, given the right tools, can choose to do amazing things with their life and I'm totally committed to do everything in my power to inspire you to make that choice, take that decision and live the life you want to. I am honest, because I believe honesty unshackles people from their past. I will tell it like it is and press you to do the same so that you can experience the freedom from the masks and cover stories. Honesty is one of my highest values. I am the creator and developer of certification programs such as 'Advanced NLP Therapeutic Specialist' and 'Conversational Change Specialist'. Currently developing a very in-depth acedemic program (Neuro-Ingenieria del Comportamiento Humano) that will run over two years with more than 575 hours of training with hundreds more in research projects, homeworks and experiments. I have co-trained with Richard Bandler for nine years now including becoming one of the very few who have co-trained along with him the Personal Enhancement and Neuro-Hypnotic Repatterning programs, but most importantly I enjoy of his friendship. I enjoy the honor of being good friends with two greats: John La Valle and Eric Robbie. When I as a boy I was fascinated with mentalism and magicians and so an interest emerged. After a backpacking trip around the world lasting three and a half years I started using hypnosis and in 1996 I was practising meditation and also learnt about NLP, hypnotherapy and its uses. Since then I have been MD in an International electronics company, starred in a Bollywood movie, recovered from a broken pelvis and now go rock climbing, trained corporate sales and I'm still finding new strategies through NLP for myself and others for achieving their own dreams. Rosie May Joined: 1st Jun 09 Last visit: Yesterday I know this might seem a cheeky request but here goes.... is there anyone who might be willing to offer me NLP Master practitioner training for free? I suffered from CFS and am virtually free of it after appyling NLP tecniques. Wanting to help others the same way I have completed the an NLP Diploma and have saved to fund myself to take the Practitioner training in June. However, I would be uncomfortable offering training to such a vulnerable group without being at Master level and yet - having not worked for four years due to the illness - I cannot afford to do it but want to get started as soon as possible. I also want to engage with the medical profession to show how NLP can help. What I'm saying then is that I've worked to get myself as far as possible but really would value some help from somebody who is willing to help me help others. Having decided to work with humans I made it my priority to find a therapy that actually worked for people and made a difference to them, quickly. I have worked in many different settings with many different types of people. I have carried out theatre workshops in prisons, I have been a teacher, I have worked in arts management within well known organisations in London. All of these things have been about people, what makes them tick and what makes them creates. I then went on to train in Cognitive Hypnotherapy at the Quest Institute in Regents College, London. I am a fully qualified and insured practitioner and also qualified in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). I now work from the acclaimed Lewis Clinic, 1 Harley Street.
