Hi Everyone, -
Hi Everyone, Hi everyone, I am new to the field/discipline of NLP. I am currently studying a Foundation Certificate to explore NLP further via live training rather than via just books. I have just completed the 6th week of the course; I am finding the course very interesting. I mainly decided to take the course for personal development reasons; also with the intention of seeing what the trainer was like for when I am ready to go on to the practitioner training. I suffer with social phobia. While in a one to one situation I am absolutely fine, with people in a group environment my anxiety levels go through the roof. I am reminded of school days/exams/bullying etc. I am interested in what people think as to which people make good NLPers? I really do not want my social phobia to be the cause of me not being able to go on to complete the practitioner training as from day one observations will be being made as to my behaviour. My passion is to work with people; I have set up a social phobia support group for many different reasons. My fear of failure and perfectionism are things which I need to work on. It has been said to me that if you really want to learn something then you will, I feel that I have to learn every single detail about NLP to be able to be a good practitioner. I question whether I am being realistic about this career route; and I keep coming up with the same answer which is that I can realistically do this. Anyway; that is a bit about me. To introduce myself and to say hi to everyone. Vicky | |
