I Intend to Shock You -
I Intend to Shock You I became interested in NLP as a result of seduction and it's possible applications to sales. I am a certified hypnotist, but I haven't practiced for a long time and intend to get back to it. I finance my life as a professional poker player. As a result, I travel quite a bit. I primarily play in Las Vegas, though I will travel to large tournaments in Europe, as well as other locations in the states.
I am fascinated by magic and mentalism, so, like many, I'm a fan of Derren Brown and his illusions.
I love peole and hope to brighten each of your days as much as I am certain you will brighten mine. -
Hi Myrddin,
What books would you recommend?
It sounds like you have learned a lot?

The book everyone recommends is "13 steps to mentalism" by Corinda. A video was recently released that illustrates many of the effects in that book. Lately I've been learning a lot of close up magic, making handkerchiefs vanish in my hand, card tricks, coin tricks, putting caps into bottles, etc. I'm a very visual learner so I learn better by watching videos or demonstrations. Most of what I know I learned, and continue to learn, from the owner of a neighbohood magic store. -
