| One Thing Led to Another... Hi my name is Paul and I started Practitioner training this year and I'm due to complete my certification in July 2008. I'm finding the course hugely enjoyable and I'll post a review of the training at a later date.
Back in 2006 as part of a company change management programme, I enjoyed a 3 day training course "Breakthrough To Peak Performance" with a training company called SI Group. The training contained a lot of material which, now looking back, was based on NLP but delivered in a dynamic and original fashion which was completely jargon free. It was aimed at over 800 employees and did not carry the label of NLP.
The "Breakthrough" course lived up to it's name and set me on a journey which continues today. I began to read books from the suggested reading list in 2007. After reading "Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway" (Susan Jeffers) and "Being Happy" (Andrew Matthews), I was flicking through the reading list for another book. I picked "An Introduction to NLP" (Joseph O'Conner & John Seymour) without a clue as to what NLP was. I read the book and my map changed!
As I said at the beginning of this post, 2008 has been my year for starting and, by the summer, completing a practitioner course. The course has opened me up to many new experiences and I'm excited about where it is going to lead to next.
I've joined NLP connections to make new friends and read/learn about other people's experiences with NLP. |
