Introductions

I've been interested in NLP since the early 80's and did several weekend courses with John Seymour in Bristol in the mid 80's. I don't want to be a practitioner; I just want to know how to use the stuff!

I have quite a few books on the subject, including the early books, Frogs into Princes, Tranceformations etc as well as later texts, such as Joseph O'Connor's books.

However much I read or practice techniques, I just don't seem to be able to get it. I think my primary rep system is auditory and I'm not very good at visualisation, although my dreams seem to be very vivid.

I wouldn't call myself a sceptic, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who's been fascinated and frustrated by NLP at the same time! Mind you, I could say the same about hypnosis, TA, psychosynthesis etc.

I'd be interested to learn from anyone else who's been in a similar situation and then managed to make progress.

Thanks

Mike Pankiewicz
