Simon Smith saying hi

Hi.

I am a business coach and trainer, operating from Belfast, and working with people mainly in Northern Ireland and the UK, as well as others as far afield as the U.S. and continental Europe.

With a background primarily in the hospitality industry, my career and interest in "communication" really started many years ago when I was involved in working with children with learning difficulties and often very significant "challenges" in getting their message across. After eventually moving on and many more job changes I finally worked within a large corporate environment, and cut my "wisdom" teeth in the world of managing and developing people around me.

Finally, after a 17 year career with one company and several different roles, I decided that I too had "climbed the [corporate] ladder and found it leaning against the wrong wall"...

Now, I have my third business, following my passions, and spending my time coaching, training, speaking wherever and whenever I can, and writing. I also spend a lot of time on my own personal development and "journey of discovery".

My intention for joining this forum is to learn more about our industry and NLP in particular, connect with people interested in the art of communication and their own personal journey and adding value to the discussions where I can.

If I can be of service please let me know.

Warm regards,

Simon.
