I'm a youth worker by background but decided about 6 months ago to stop being a Youth Participation Team Leader as I was doing far too much paper and policy and not enough people and participation! There were so many reasons that I left that I lost count. The idea was that I would step more into the world of "freelance" trainer/consultant/ facilitator/watch this space kind of person but I just haven't many enough of my opportunities and thinking about this has brought me back to NLP.

I have known about NLP for a long time and have used many of the techniques in my work over the years. The inspiration for my love of NLP is that man Michael Mallows as he led the two workshops that I took what must be over 10 years ago on two separate conferences with the national youth counselling network (I forget what it was called - Youth Access maybe). It is searching for him that led me to this site.

I've been thinking about doing further training in NLP and possibly having some one to one counselling from an NLP counsellor to help me get rid of some blocks! So, wish me luck - or perhaps more positively, success, in finding both of those things!

And Michael, if you read this - look out for me, I'm seeking inspiration again!! :-)
