Looking for Books and Trainer

Folks-

I live in Canada, and I am looking for the books on (a) Hypnosis and (b) NLP. Which one would you recommend? Also, I am looking for NLP/Master NLP and Hpynosis training in Canada and UK. Which one would you recommend?

Tariq

for books, im currently reading Micheal Brooks 'instant rapport' which im finding is so far an excellent book and definately one to add to your collection. also, frogs into princes is always a reccomended read, as is tranceformations, both by Richard Bandler.

i cannot comment on canada, but in the UK i know Bob Spour does an excellent course in the midlands area, which i will be attending in april.

Hi Tariq,
The strucure of magic 1 and 2 Bandler and grinder are good all rounders,
Patterns 1 and 2 Bandler and Grinder are great revealing books on Milton Ericksons work and how it goes together.
My Voice will go with you - Sidney Rosen is great metaphor and commentary.

As for training, I offer an SNLP certified, accomodation included package in the UK which may be a of interest to you. You can messege me for more details if thats of interest to you.

Enjoy the books, and check out Stephen Gilligan if you haven't already, just fantastic.

Enjoy

Andy

Hi Tariq,

Good to hear you have a strong interest in NLP. In terms of recommending books there are a few books for each with I would recommend depending on your NLP level and interest. I have also put right at the bottom a list of what NLP books I can think of by the co-creators.

NLP (beginner)
The Magic of NLP Demystified; Byron Lewis and Frank Pucelik

NLP (advanced)
Whispering in the Wind: Carmen Bostic St Clair and John Grinder

Hypnosis
Hypnotherapy: Dave Elman

Training Trances: Overdurf and Silverthorn

Training
I would recommend ourselves (NLP Academy) for training in the UK. We offer excellent NLP Practitioner trainings with John Grinder, Michael Carroll and Carmen Bostic St Clair. more info: NLP Practitioner

If you are unable to make it to the UK I know of an excellent ITA Trainer based in Winnipeg which I would be happy to supply you details of.

NLP by John Grinder and Richard Bandler
Structure of Magic I: Bandler and Grinder

Structure of Magic II: Grinder and Bandler

Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H. Erickson: Bandler and Grinder

Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H. Erickson: Vol II. Grinder Delozier and Bandler

Frogs into Princes: Bandler and Grinder

Reframing: Bandler and Grinder

Transformations: Grinder and Bandler

Using your Brain For a Change : Richard Bandler

Turtles all the Way Down: The perquisites of genius Grinder and Delozier

I hope this helps

Best

For NLP books, you'll find reviews of over 170 NLP and NLP-related books here:

Honest Abe's NLP Book Reviews

or if you want specifically introductory books (sorted into categories such as general, business, etc.)

Honest Abe's NLP Book Reviews - Titles

For training in Canada I would recommend Steve Boyley. You can find his website here:

NLP Training Seminars Serving Canada, USA And The World.
