    Strange Amazon.co.uk Experience

    Hi All,

Several months ago I pre-ordered the new RB Trance-formation book on Amazon.co.uk.

Today I received an email from them saying that they have been unable to obtain the item and cancelling the order.

Fair enough, one might think. I popped over to Amazon.com - there is the book "in stock". I duly ordered it (there is no tax on books in Ireland so it won't cost me more).

    Strange, eh?

The .com and .co.uk stores are owned separately.

    Eh, no, they aren't:

"Amazon.co.uk is the trading name for Amazon EU Sàrl and Amazon Services Europe S.à.r.l. Both companies are subsidiaries of Amazon.com"
