    I Hypnotized a Child Today

    Everyone,
So, my quest to become the greatest car salesman ever has hit a bump in the road. For reasons that defy logic, I was fired Saturday. So, I have decided to go into business for myself as a hypnotist. Since it had been a while since I have put anyone in a trance (other than the revolting feeling they experience when they look at me) I practiced today by putting my ten year old niece into a trance using the first induction I ever learned. Now, my niece is a lot more mature than most kids her age. Are there any special considerations for hypnotizing children?

    Hi Tony,

So you have found what you really want to do?

    What induction did you use?

Hypnosis is second to what I really want to do. But it is great because I get to help people.
I used an induction where I had her sit with her arm resting on the table and imagine that there is an iron bar holding her elbow down to the table and a balloon is attached to her middle finger and her arm will rise up. eventually her had touches her face and she goes into trance. she enjoyed it.

    Hi Tony,

Cool, My sister and I have enroled on the British Hypnosis Research/Stephen Brooks course.
You have to purchase a DVD which costs approx 50 euros and you can participate on a 1 year course.

So far we are really enjoying it and learning lots. It can't compare to a live training course but it's definitely providing us with a grounding until we can go on one.

Good luck with your second choice!

    Violeta

P.s Can you tell us your first?

    Violeta,

My first choice is acting. I am just not photogenic enough, I suppose, so, that means instead of entertaining people, I am destined to help ease their suffering in another way.

    Hi Tony,

It far more frequent that my daughter hypnotizes me than the other way around. I'm gonna have to figure out how she does that someday. Hypnotizing children? Yes, my daughter is definitely one of those!

    Hay Tony

Go for your dream- do you know just how many unphontogenic actors they are?- All of the guys in this photo are actors 4 of them are extremely successful and might not be the most photogenic guys in the world- and you know what make them different than you? is they just stand up and do it. and you should do it too. and even if it does come to much at least you made the attempt.

    Be Well

    Hi Tony,

Jay's right isn't he? Some of the best funniest actors aren't photogenic at all!

There is an expression here in Italy il sogno nel cassetto do you know what it means the dream in the drawer. There's too many people that keep what they really want to do in a drawer instead of opening their drawer and living their dream!

Go for acting! Do you think you would be a good ACTOR? If the answer is YES don't let a limiting belief, like the way you look stop you!

What would make you a better actor than you were a car salesman?

Re: I Hypnotized a Child Today

    John,
I never said I would be a better actor than car salesman. I'm determined to be the best at whatever it is I do. Hell, I'd be the best grave-digger if that is what I had to do for money. It's just that I've wanted to be an actor since I was a little kid and am fascinated by it. Actually, I'm fascinated by a lot of things.

I just want to be the best salesman. I am willing to do whatever it takes.
When you think of these 2 statements, what differences do you notice.

Re: I Hypnotized a Child Today

    John,

I should rephrase those two statements.
I am a great actor, no doubt about it.

I am the best salesman and I do whatever it takes to continue to be.

know doubt, about it... I have no doubts that you should leave doubts out of it, just be a great actor and perpetually proud of it.
