And to follow on from John's point, if life has no intrinsic meaning, then it only has the meaning you give it.
So what meaning are you going to give your life today?
Aside from 42, of course...
And while you think about that, consider in that context...
Be Well,

And as I introduced the clip to Al originally, and as Sam just happened to watch it, perhaps it's coincidence or perhaps there's another wonderful meaning, a meaning so special to you and to who you are or to who you are becoming now that you can give it...?
Or not!
Serendipity and synchronicity are meanings too, after all, methinks...
Be Well,

I am curious, what is the meaning of life? We all have our individual and collective views, I have read another of your recent posts and am inclined to agree with some of your views.
Now, it's obvious that you have some strong views, so perhaps your greatest gift to us, would be to help us understand what it is that you consider important and that would expand our levels of understanding to be in tune with yours. If its an important distinction that we are missing, would we all not benefit from you sharing this knowledge?
Looking forward to learning something new. After all thats what we are all here for. To learn, to share and to help others.
For all of you that want to pick me up on my use of the generalisation of all
Have a great day

| i think i get the concept of 'self' rather well. i am a liberated person who doesn't get stuck in the mud of belief systems, did you not get that point?
my point in my original thread was about people reading a bit of info and relying on it so heavily on it, believing it without researching the point, is that not left enough for you?
think before you respond to threads dear | | | | Message posted: 26th Sep 08, 12:22 pm
