Thanks Paul and your suggestions are always fun to read. I don't think charging people to be a member here would promote the site though. My experience is that people value it being a free resource, open to anyone, and I'm committed to never charging for membership.

I have found that if people don't pay, often they don't value or use a facility. Michael mentioned the cost factor which is why I suggested. I still am interested to know wht he misread what I said. Either way keep up the good work

Michael, the post is relating to NLP Connections, not to creating another forum. Why on earth did you read it that way?

Because I like the idea of choice and flexibility and was hoping this meant another NLP forum with a different way of doing things. I quite enjoy useful options and choice because lots of people have different criteria and I think it can be great when they can find better and better matches for them!

Sorry for the optimism and enthusiasm!

I'm sure it can seem that way, depending on the frames from which we read things. Hopefully my explanation has cleared that up somewhat.

I still don't see how my pretty positively framed questions would sound defensive. But, as we all know, there's no accounting for frames, there's just noticing them and adjusting till you get understanding.

Maybe its a language problem in understanding, but the post was to congradulate and suggest a better way to promote this site. There is no thinking or suggestion about creating an alternative site.

No thinking about that by you, perhaps, which might be why you perceived what I wrote in the way that you did. And again, hopefully my explanation here has helped to clear that up a bit.

And although I'm saddened a bit that there's not a new forum coming out of this, I thank you for clarifying your communications here and allowing me the opportunity to do the same!

There are lots of members here, so the question as with all such facilities is how to get the best inter communication so all find greater value, rather than the same 10 - 15 people out of thousands doing the posting, although I appreciate many may lurk!

If I amy offer a thought, The point system will encourag the silent watches to join the ranks of us loud mouths.

Also michael, about your desire for a new forum, fear not, as soon as i achieve that wonderfull legal quallifiaction 18+ and then get my practicioners i shall have have a forum of my own, as well as a websotre or 3.
