    Master Trainers and Logical Levels?

I often come across NLP websites that leave me a tad baffled or just short of understanding, today's site is this one: NLP MASTER Trainer Level

Ignoring the spelling mistake on the logo, i noticed the following in the criteria to be a master trainer:

    - Being able to think and therefore discuss at least 2 logical levels above the content of Practitioner, Master Practitioner, and Trainer level of NLP.

I am familiar with logical levels but I don't understand what this means one jot, so could anyone translate what this actually refers to for me?

    Thanks in advance,

    Andrew Austin

    Andy

    It's obvious

If you have to ask you'll never get it

I just hope you can learn to cope with the disappointment.

    Cheers

Hey, why worry about the details when they offer you a "high six figure income".

There are lots of nice pictures of happy smiling people in nice clothes so it must be true.

Re: Master Trainers and Logical Levels?

the common theme to that set is 'levels' ok...so what is a level above 'levels'?

sets of levels? hmmm..but isn't that the 1st level? how can the 2nd level be a member of the 1st member? members of sets of sets of members?

hopefully you are beginning to con-fuse your neurological levels in ways that con-found and con-notate meaning for you...in your own unique way!

Re: Master Trainers and Logical Levels?

Being able to think at least two logical levels above the content of prac, etc? That's easy.

The content of prac is an example of (member of the higher level set of) content. Content is an example of stuff.

The content of master prac is an example of content. Content is an example of stuff.

The content of trainer track is an example of content. Content is an example of stuff.

So if you can "think and therefore discuss" stuff, you should be sorted.

    Cheers,

    James

And there was me thinking that the House of Lords was the most exclusive club in the world! Sounds like it would be easier to get political asylum or enter the pearly gates of heaven. Andrew, why not ask them for a clear example of what they are talking about, should make interesting reading.

And the ability to make, or create, or deem - or even dub - someone a "Master Trainer" makes the speaker - the person offering this "training" - a what?

    Hi All,

With regard to Logical levels, that's a simple one. As James has already indicated, a logical level is a set which contains the next lower logical level as a subset.

Therefore you take three cannibals and send them off for NLP training. 1 gets a Prac, 1 gets a Master Prac and the last gets his Trainers.

Upon their return, the Master Practitioner eats the Practitioner, the Trainer eats the Master Practitioner and then the person who eats the trainer becomes the Master Trainer! Viola!

Re: Master Trainers and Logical Levels?

Maybe they (the ABNLP) are trying to create some sort of masonic order of NLPers. It say's you need two other masters to get you in!
So to answer Eric's question, it must be the grand master of the lodge.
Have you not heard about the secret signal eye accessing cues?
