NLP Times' Story Telling Secrets Metphors

I am considering buying Michael Breen's "Story Telling Secrets Metphors" from NLPtimes.com. Can anyone give me some advices or reviews?

I'm moving this to the main forum. Please don't post in the reviews section unless you're posting a review.

I bought a video from nlp times once. The first one they sent wouldn't play, but they replaced it with absolutely no hassle at all. When it did play I was disappointed with the content, or rather the complete lack of what I would call content. I consider it a waste of money, I'm not at all inclined to put a positive frame around the experience, just in case it then happens again.

I gather they do have many satisfied customers and I would give high marks for customer service and what certainly appears to have been a well intentioned effort to produce a quality product - it just didn't push my buttons.

All my experiences of Michael Breen and his products are good. The story telling material presents a clear and simple model for how to use stories as a compelling part of your communication. It's very much real world oriented, rather than delivered in terms of NLP jargon. Do what he says, and you will be a better communicator: simple as that.

I'm not a fan of the NLPtimes writing/marketing style, but I tolerate it for the access it presents to some top quality learning materials. And that same style probably attracts lots of other people, whatever I feel about it. I agree with Renee that their customer service is strong.

I got another of their products called modelling the masters and I have to say that was poor too. I felt it was a missed opportunity since they had access to the masters however the content was hard to hear and the interviews not good since the questions were poor. Waste of £100 for me so I won't trust them again.

There's a distinction to be made between a product created by NLPtimes, and one devised by Michael Breen and made available through them.

Tom O'Connor is a great guy and he does interesting things with NLP. His articles on NLP Times are thoughtful and targetted. As others have said, he offers impeccable customer support, and the products he sells are mostly designed and delivered by Michael Breen - an excellent trainer.

I have finally finish listened to the "Story Telling Secret" by NLPtime, and I thought it might be good to post some of my impressions about it.

First of all, I like Michael Breen's voice tone.

He does not only present the material and clear and concisely, he also shows how can this material be integrated into the larger framework of communication in general. Although due to the time's constraint, he could not possibly mention all the related stuffs.

Because it is a recording of a tele-seminar, there is a q&a session at the end, where you might find some of your questions being answered. And I cannot wait to see how the magic works in real life soon.

I have two of his products. Personally, I found them lacking. Like any product there is always "some" nuggets of gold in there. Now, I know he is a super NLP guy and the NLP-Times is always stuffed full of good information but....
I found him to be the most non-humorous/annoying guy I have seen on video. I wish he would just talk/teach and quit trying to be so damn funny. It comes off as so contrived.
