    NLP Exercises

I have been collecting exercises that can improve my NLP skill, or alter my state of consciousness. Can you guys post up the exercise that is most valuable in your learning process, be it in your practitioner, master practitioner course, or book, can't you?

To help you get the idea, I propose a exercise here:

    1. Select a colour. Then visualize a content-free field of that colour.
    2. Begin to notice what sound accompanies that colour. Hear the sound, allowing it to become appropriately loud and clear.
    3. Begin to notice the body sensations accompany the colour and sound. Notice if there is movement to the sensation and where in your body you are most aware of the sensation.
    4. Repeat with at least 6 different colours

    Hey Caleb,

Since you started with Colour, you may like to try the exercises I suggested here in this thread:

    Thanks Steve for your suggestion.
    It is really cool.

Every exercise suggested so far is "mental" related, so I think it would be a good idea to say something about our "body"( thought I am not so sure about the mind body split things ). Does anyone here know about Feldenkrais method, here is a good place to start: List kinesophics ATMs | kinesophics.ca

I haven't been very helpful at all. Caleb, who is this for? Are you looking for something to learn yourself or are you looking for it to be a kind of note swapping affair? It also depends on what intended learnings are to occur through the process itself. For example the exercise you shared is a very simple synaesthesia pattern. I take stuff like that as a kind of personal experience to begin show you ways in which people can experience the world around them. A way to demonstrate that mind and body are one and this is a way to experience that. I'm sceptical though of the worth of continuing to go down that road to end up shoe-horning shit in all over the shop. Fair enough there are ways to specifically tinker/interfere with syneasthesia patterns but its based on an extremely limited amount of data available due to the awareness limitations of consciousness. So what do you want to learn Caleb?
