    I need you help

    Hi All
About 2 years ago I was not feeling well and went to the on call gp and he sent me to the hospital as he taugh I might have a heart complaint , so went I there and spent the night in the hospital having test and they found nothing wrong just a slight chest infection ,and was sent home ,
The next day I started to have vey bad panic attacks and things went down hill from there.
I have suffered form aniexty and panic attack and have been concerened with dying and how its going to happen , plus had have been suffering with low self asteem issues and depression and taughts of ending it all up ,
Thing got so bad that I stopped seeing clients and very rarley left the hse unless I really needed to

I have been to the gp and refered on to a shrinks who seem more intrested in writing scripts for different drugs which do not I do not like taking , as the side affects are dreadful ,
I have started to practice nlp on myself again and starting to come around , The anexity and panic attacks are a lot less frequent and the taughts and the depression is starting to lift as I have changed the internal dialouge abit ,
But i could do with an helping hand , in plain lanuage , So any advise would be grateful

    Just a thought:

How could anyone give you "a helping hand" when the only information they have is YOUR account of the situation in a not very long post?

It would be totally irresponsible for even an experienced diagnostician to presume to deal with your condition on the basis of so little information. And could *possibly* encourage you to do something that would be counter-productive. Is that really a risk you want to take?

Anyone who attempts to answer your request in any detail would be providing exactly the kind of ill-conceived advice that critics of the field of NLP love to get their hands on to "prove" what a bunch of looneys we are.

(And in any case, to be honest the fact that you can spell words like "suffered/suffering", ""frequent", "writing", "dreadful" and "depression" correctly, but don't even spell "esteem" or "anxiety" in a way that resembles the sound of the word (you spell them "asteem", "aniexty" and "anexity"), leads me to wonder what your post is really all about.)

Wat a sinikal cod I yam.

    1. Learn how to experience a new altered state. A state that makes internal dialog redundant or the choice to experience something more realistic.
    a) Hypnosis is excellent for creating, developing and enhancing the experience of atlered states.
    b) New code games are excellent for creative resources and entering that world.
    c) Playing with submodalities is excellent for subjective experience in determing own flexibility.
    d) Once you work on the resources, if you are not just dreaming, you anchor them together in a useful way.

    2. That will give you many more choices

    3. Smile and be happy.

    Hi Andrew ,

    In reply to your comments
How could anyone give you "a helping hand" when the only information they have is YOUR account of the situation in a not very long post?
Whose account of my situation would you like , and how long of a post would you like and in what format ,
And let me apologise for the spelling errors

    Hi Kevin

    b) is an excellent choice and well worth exploring.
Try 'new code games' in the forum search engine to find out more.
Even better if you can find a new code practitioner or practice group in your area.

    Good luck

I don't have time to post much today but I want to highlight the first part of Andrew's post because I think that's very important. Some people will try to help because they like feeling helpful, and what would really be helpful for you right now, Kevin?

The truth is, we don't know. You haven't said much and we haven't observed or talked to you. So the best that anyone here can do is give you general advice. Without knowing what medications you've taken recently for example, that advice may be counter productive.

Andrew is a really good guy and he has good intentions towards you. He may not have responded in the way you wanted but I think his response is honest and selfless.

Find an equally honest and selfless person to work with you personally. Your life is worth more than taking general advice from strangers on an internet forum. Find someone good and experienced to help you. When you're in a better state, you'll look back and be glad you did.

    Good luck and best wishes!

I change my mind often; I might not agree with this any more
