I realise there must be a bunch of people who don't really get the idea that the unconscious is a metaphor for everything you are not currently aware of in a particular point in time. I also realise there must be a bunch of people that believe the unconscious could be broken down with conscious analysis into different parts. The first line of thinking is undesirable for me. The second line for me presupposes that everything should be done with conscious analysis. Otherwise, how on earth is the second line of thinking supposed to work in the first place?
