New Code Alphabet Game Mark III -
New Code Alphabet Game Mark III Some years ago now (blimey... 4 years... I looked ) I wrote a small visual basic application that played out a version of Grinder and Tabb's New Code Alphabet Game. I still get a trickle of interest in this programme but I don't programme in VB these days and I simply cannot guarantee that the application will run in more recent versions of Windows. I'm also not inclined to support MS software these days anyway, since I work almost entirely in Linux where I can :-)
So, for fun and self-education, I've started developing a javascript based version on-line. It currently has no configurable options, since that would require some sort of sign in or session based system and I don't really have spare time to put that sort of effort into the coding unless there was a big enough interest (though I could be persuaded if the interest was there)
You can find my beta version here. It is still kinda fun and is affording me some nice optimal breaks from my coding work ;-) All my previous caveats about the game as developed by me being a stand alone project and no involvement with the New Code trainings still stand NLP New Code Alphabet Game

This shit is pretty cool, thank you for creating this!!! -
Glad you like it Youval http://www.hypnosisaudiocds.com -
Thanks for sharing Adam... Love the idea and will have a more in depth tinker later..

Thanks Wayne... it is raw basic at present but I may well tinker with it over the next few days... I did have a thing going where the box "zoomed" to the centre of the screen but it actually proved too distracting and seemed to detract from the value, so I reverted to simples :-) http://www.hypnosisaudiocds.com -
Thanks! That was fun! I am not familiar with New Code NLP. I'll have to look into it now. I forwarded it to my list of fellow NLP students.

Nannete Hi Nanette, it might also be worth letting them know that the alphbet game is not ideal for self application - in case they want to test out 'new code' on themselves. And that it they want to use it in their own coaching it's best to have some idea of what they're calibrating. -

IF, and i'm not advocating it but IF people do want to try it and maybe will try it anyway, is it worth offering a few pointers if only for the fact that many may be trying it anyway, and coming to an erroneous conclusion about its effectiveness? People that have experienced "the state" from it know but what about the people that want to try it and don't know what to do, unfortunately creating a filter that may prevent them from ever experiencing one of the most powerful tools available? There is simply no substitute for an exquisite new code coach (I'm not including myself there) taking you through a game but is there any value in giving people a taste? Is it possible? -
When I first wrote the VB version of the game and got feedback here a lot of these issues were discussed with folk like Michael Carroll and others (who I note has since offered a a computer version of the game in an article in Rapport, though I have not seen the game to comment on it). All I can say is that a) I am not New Code trained, I was introduced to the game in another context and b) it was originally written for my own experimentation (I no longer seek accreditation with the big guys, generally preferring to work stuff out for myself from first principles) and is offered solely in that spirit
I do recommend that anyone passing it on as a link indicates that the game as presented is in no way a New Code tool. It is presented as a state change tool for personal exploration. http://www.hypnosisaudiocds.com -
I did this with JG on an event and, if I remember correctly (Peter of Michael will know), he said - Don't put left with L or right with R and
- don't put 3 in a row.
He didn't specify why as far as I remember.
John Have you noticed how people seem to either seem see dichotomies everywhere or they don’t Similar Threads -
