Getting Old! -
Varifocal lenses Hi. I have just picked up my varifocal prescription glasses. I am at the age where my eyes need a little help!
Regarding eye accessing cues. I was wondering if anyone has thought about whether they influence how you process information. They train the eyes to focus in a direction that seems unnatural (well to me anyway!).
I am curious if they have long term effects, and will I start experiencing life in a completely different way. Hopefully they will stop the double vision, but that's not quite what I mean!

Actually you can train the muscles of your eyes using some physical exercises (www.rebuildyourvision.com, Vision training home page and probably many more) and some hypnosis inductions and possibly many other techniques aswell. If used consistently (every day about 25 mins) and effectivelly it is possible to "naturally" (without corrective lenses or operations) get rid of vision issues and have the vision that you want.
good luck -
hi Jane, I remember PPD Learning hosting a practice group last year on improving vision. It may be worth enquiring with them regarding a repeat performance, as I remember the cost was only about £15
Hope this may be of use.
Very best wishes -
Thank s to both of you. May try this out. However there are people who use bi and varifocals without knowing this information.... I was wondering if the lenses affected representations and perception. Especially when reading. | |
